How do I add a redirect? (ex 301 Redirect)

Start by browsing to https://cpanel.misshosting.com

    Log into cPanel.
Under Domains, click the icon redirects.
From the drop-down menu, select the type of redirect that should be used.

Permanent 301 is a redirection that will update the visitor's bookmarks, and direct search engines to the new location.

Temporary 302 redirects which will redirect the visitor or search engine but will not update the bookmark and search engines will continue to index to the original page.

From "http: // (. Www)" in the drop-down menu, select the domain name you want to redirect.

If you want to redirect a page or directory, you can use the adjacent text field to specify the name of the folder or file.

The "redirect to" field, enter the full URL of the page you will control.

Note: You must enter the protocol (such as http: //, https: // or ftp: //) and to the domain address to be accepted.

Select one of the following www redirection options to dictate whether the domain will redirect:

Only redirect with www. redirects visitors that type www. as part of the URL.

Redirect with or without www. redirects all visitors whether they use www. or not.

Not Redirect www. will not redirect visitors using www. as part of the URL.

By clicking the option Wildcard redirection allows users to set a redirect to the same file on a new destination.

With the Wild Card Redirect will www.example.com/about.html redirect to www.example-destination.com/about.html

Without the Wild Card Redirect will www.example.com/about.html redirect to www.example-destination.com

Click Add to create redirection specified.

Now when visitors enter the exact address you entered, they will be redirected to the destination you assigned.
